The Princess and the Pearl Debutante Cotillion
Members of the Eta Alpha Omega Chapter are pleased to announce the Sorority’s signature event of the year. “The Princess and the Pearl” Debutante Cotillion Scholarship Program. The event will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 6:00 pm at the Kenneth Monroe Transformation Center. Proceeds will support scholarships for debutantes and local community programs sponsored by the Eta Alpha Omega Chapter.
The Cotillion is free and open to the public. The Debutante Cotillion is the chapter’s major fundraising event. The funds raised help support programs that align with our national initiatives. Scholarships are awarded annually: three to the winners of the Debutante Cotillion and four book scholarships. The funds raised also support a number of other activities in our city and community, such as Alzheimer’s Awareness, ASCEND (middle and high school youth development), Asthma Awareness, Back the Pack, Domestic Violence Awareness, One Million Backpacks, Pink Goes Red, Mental Health Awareness, Playground 1908, Relay for Life, Rolling in Rock Hill, Think HBCU, NAACP, and The ROC.
