Greetings Members, Partners, Supporters, and Community Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to visit the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Eta Alpha Omega Chapter. I am Ms. Tiffany L. Hefney, and I am graciously serving as the 32nd Chapter President for 2024 – 2025.
It is a privilege and honor to extend greetings on the behalf of this award-winning chapter, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Since her chartering on March 16, 1957, by our beloved “Sweet Sixteen” charter members, Eta Alpha Omega has served the communities of Rock Hill, Clover, York, and Chester County. On March 16, 2022, Eta Alpha Omega celebrated our Pearl year with 65 years of service to all mankind.
Our membership is comprised of talented, dedicated, and visionary college educated women committed to “Soaring to Greater Heights of Sisterhood and Service” under the great leadership of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® , International President and CEO, Ms. Danette Anthony Reed.
Our Chapter
Eta Alpha Omega
In the mid-fifties, Mary Sitgraves Johnson returned to Rock Hill to find several Alpha Kappa Alpha members in the community. Johnson and fifteen other young energetic members, from the Tri-County area (Chester, York, and Lancaster) formed an interest group. As a result, on March 16, 1957, Eta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was officially chartered by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Grace Matthews, in the absence of Kathryn Johnson, the South Atlantic Regional Director.

Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908.
With the theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.
